This is a good thing. That way, most of us should be able to get out fishing.

BTT..

Date is June 20th and 21st.. in Middletown PA out of Swatara Creek launch. Accomdodations are at the Days Inn Days Inn Harrisburg East
800 Eisenhower Blvd., Middletown, PA 17057
717-939-4147 rates are about 68.00 a night for two.

I will arrive with Dave Friday night the 19th and check in. Sunrise is at 5:30 am each day so an early start is needed.. Meet at ramp at 5am. Please write your cell number/name on about six or seven cards to hand out in the morning.

Lunch BYOB

Dinner starts at 4pm at the ramp where I will be cooking all sorts of stuff. Cold drinks will also be provided. No adult beverages are allowed at the ramp BTW. And they enforce it there too.

Link to hotel. http://www.daysinnhia.com/

Saturday evening I plan a trip to BPS if anybody would like to join me.

Sunday it is 5am again. From there it is up to each boat when they want to hit the road.

Mike,

Thanks for the response. I might just try to meet everyone at the hotel the night before. The BPS trip sounds interesting too.

not 100% just yet, but am trying to figure out what weekend my daughter goes to camp in pennsylvania. she goes to gymnastics camp for a week in june and i may have to pick her up the weekend that the outing is being held. if so, i think that myself and wags might just make the road trip to meet some of you guys, and do some fishing out of michigan for once.

if you guys could give me some sort of idea what a weekend license would cost us. that way we can get stuff in order if it is the weekend we want. just let us know.

thanx, ken

I'm not sure if you can hear it from where you guys are, but that is the sound of my heart breaking... and yes those are real tears streaming on to my keyboard. That is high school graduation time up here, my wife is senior class advisor and my son has a basketball tournament in the Syracuse Carrier Dome that weekend... DAMMIT!

Penseltukey has some large out of state fees.. But the DNR in PA is ten times better than MD DNR. The rangers are nice and very professional. In MD if you ever see one he is writing tickets..

They are feared and in fact are reveared..

I will bring my Jetboat. I can take at least one passenger.

If the water depth is not an issue, I may be able to take two passengers. I am depending on Capn' Mike to show me the chutes so my boat doesn't end up at the welders for the remainder of the summer.

I'm a non-boater who will be fishing the Shenandoah BFL Event on Saturday June 20th. I live just outside of Pittsburgh PA, so attending the second day of the Bassfishin.com outing isn't out of my way. If we have enough boats for everyone's butts, you can count me in.
