Sorry guys turns out this is not his boat. He was pulling my leg. He said he bought it and it was an 18' and he was going to take on the world with it against the 22' guys.

While I agree a 22' is not necessary sorry to post it.

Didn't I see this 1 on CL or Ebay a month or so ago? Nice boat to say the least though.

I thought you had a Nitro Z9...not a Ranger? Did you get a new boat?

Ive had a 22 ft went back smaller, real boats dont need 250-300 hp to do 70-80 with.
It is a nice stable ride, and a nice boat, does resemble one on ebay recently but they go thru a lot of boats there.

I see, Vegas. Just didn't know if you had sold your Z9 and why if you did. Nice Ranger...really nice.

Default Nitro Z9

For the time being, if I sold my Z9 I would buy another. While Ranger is fine and I have had 3 over 15 years, I would never pay the sticker price again for one. They are great but not like they were and I still don't know how they demand the price they do. My current boat is the best one I ever had. EVER!

Glad to see you like your Nitro, I love mine. Have had it since 2000, garage kept!

My Nitro is faster than any Ranger I had. I will agree until about five years ago, Rangers fit and finish was better than Nitro. Nitro of that time would rattle after about a year of regular use, but consider this – not just the ones you see on TV and I think it is region specific, but more top finishers are fishing out of Nitro’s now. $10,000 less to buy and you can buy a killer electronic set up for that $10k. The 2010 or newer Z9’s and forward in my opinion is the best boat on the water in the big and fast BB department. The 8 and 7 is a heck of a value and you could compete all day on them.

I will say when you show up at a FLW event with anything other than a Ranger, you need to have thick skin.
