Default Tiller trolling motor?

Anyone know if you can just turn the head on a bow mount tiller controlled trolling motor, so you can mount it on the transom?

I have done it a couple of times with no prob. Take the top off and be sure not to put the wires in a bind.

Just wanted to make sure it was possible, and it was the head, not the motor that got spun around. Thanks again.
