i have used the strike king pure poison (same thing as chatterbait), and have had good sucess on it in the early morning swimming it like a spinnerbait and working it like a crankbait mid morning... colors include white with silver blade, and chartreuse with gold blade. In my lakes it is something new that the fish havent seen before so right now they are hammering the snot out of them....

I've caught a number of fish on Chatterbaits, using them like spinnerbaits in shallow, weedy water.

I agree with the above. They have worked well for me, especially in early spring.
