Default Line Facts

i made test on line..i use trilene..i bought spools in 2000/2001..i keep them in basement, nice and cool ..i sprayed spools each year with SILICONE spray..

i was out yesterday, filled my spool with 6 pd trilene xt..i caught 11 bass and got hung up 1 time and could not break line off bottom ,so i pulled tree limb up and took my jig off..

what i am saying, there is test folks..you dont have to run out and buy new line..that line was 7 years old, yes, 7..

secret is to store it where there is no light and cool, not in heat and spray it each year with silicone spray..

Very good advice, Commanche. I keep mine on the top shelf of the pantry. Helps keep it fresh.
