Water Temperature: 88
Water Clarity: 1 foot

Tuesday 6-22: Conditions: P/cloudy and 77 degrees at 5am. Beautiful partly cloudy day with SW breeze @ 5 mph. Lake was back to full pool, water was very clear for Logan Martin in some areas was 2 to 3 ft. I fished with Kenny Browning from Gadsden today. Kenny was interested in running the lake and finding a large amount of fishing areas. We started down river in the dam area, fishing shallow areas with buzz baits and Sammy 115, not a lot of action in any area, points or grass after a couple of hours fishing this kind of structure we started hitting drops with the Spotsticker. This give us plenty of action but never hooked any fish over about 1 1/2 lbs. Later in the day we skipped piers, again using the 1/16 Spotsticker and NetBait Finesse worm ( Key Lime Pie ) Again plenty of fish around the piers, but never the large ones we were looking for. We did not deep fish any of the humps, but I would suspect that is where some of the larger spots have went to. One thing that improved our catch around piers was to shake the rod tip after the Spotsticker hit bottom. Deep floating piers, docks were the ticket, Not much action around the shallow piers. Grass bite was off yesterday. Reguarding fishing the humps, I have had excellent results in the past 10 days using the Paca Craw on a Carolina Rig with a rattle inserted in the tube. Watermelon Gold or Watermelon Red. Riverside Marina has a large stock of all NetBait Products as well as MegaStrike. Lucky's also stocks NetBait
