2 Part Thread / With Fantasy Football Emphasis

The first part is allotted for me to eat some crow. I completely failed at Fantasy Fishing this year. And I don't mean just a little. I think I had to be the worst participant of the bunch. At any rate, and all excuses aside, I apologize to everyone in that group.

The other part....I noticed a few people bumping the fantasy football idea around. We had the league last year and I think it was fun. If you would like, I can renew that league for 13 and send the invites out to last year participants and open it up to everyone else, too. What are your thoughts, is there any interest?

No worries on the Fantasy Fishing. It's just for fun and if you aren't pretty tapped in to the Elite Series, it's pretty hard to keep up with their weird schedule.

I had a blast playing Fantasy Football last year, I was hoping we would do it again this year. Count me in!

The league has been revived in last year participants have been sent invites. We only had 8 players last year (7 from BF.com and one my personal friend) so we have room for 5 BF.com members to join. I will open it up to the whole site tomorrow night!

Wanted to make sure what # of players that will be played each week. Made a slight error last year and thought we'd have two QB's and two Flex positions. Worked out pretty good for me in the long run though.

This year I'll be prepared!!!

Hey everyone! We have 8 teams! With the draft just a short time away, I have shut down any future sign-ups. I did this to prevent 1 team from adding, having an odd number, and not being able to do a head 2 head league.

If someone wants to join still...you must bring a buddy to ensure an even number playing field. Please PM if this is the case.

So we drafted last night and I got online early to make sure everything was working. I even had a backup computer in case. I get to the page and hit Enter Live Draft. Nothing. Won't load. I fire up the backup. Nothing. I make sure I have Adobe Flash. Yep it's automatic with Google Chrome. I switch over to IE on both to see if that helps. Nope. Firewall won't let me in. Stupid firewall. Now I realize that the computer is going to use my pre-draft rankings to pick my team and I need to make a couple changes. Nope. Closed. No changes allowed. Now what??? Last year I was at McD's when we drafted. There's one right down the street. Can I make it in time?? Nope. Hit every red light along the way. So I finally get online after logging in twice and 8 rounds have gone by and what do I see??? MO_CPA scooped up a bunch of players I had listed as #1 picks for each round. At least I got Brees!! I did end up with some decent players though and look forward to having a fun year.
