Re: what would you say?
A short story goes with mine.
My dad was asking me about my new job. We got to talking about the guys I was working with, and he asked if any of them were fishermen. When I told him no, he said " I thought I raised you to hang around a better class of people." OK, it isn't advice about fishing as much as it is about what great people fishermen are. Probably the best advice about fishing was from my grandfather who taught me that it isn't the catching that is important, it is the enjoyment of fishing. I will throw lures in a swimming pool if it is the only water I can find. |

Re: what would you say?
i think he was talkin about himself. anyways, mine isnt really advice:"Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after." i really like that saying, because alot of fishermen go out to get alot of fish, but only the true ones go out to have fun and enjoy it, and in my experience, when im enjoyin it, i end up catchin more bass then when i go out and try and try to catch fish.

So the presentation of the bait, is the #1 thing that catches fish. Be it slow, fast, jerky whatever they want, it's the PRESENTATION ;D, or the ART of it anyway. Lizards |
