yes there is a carp division joedog. me and bubba are the only ones in that so far.

as for the other divisions, if oyu want to enter one, do it. if someone else wants in the same, then there's 2.

Can I enter a bowfished carp in the carp division? I'm in if I can . I'm in on largemouth and smallmouth. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch another smallmouth over 70% of the state record . Not much of a chance at the largemouth but you never know.

Well he's convinced me to it! Got the whole scale thing worked out and everything.

Should be pretty fun, we'll see what we can pull out of the fishin whole this year! And if it's ok with you guys, I'll throw my little brother into the ballet, kid catches bigger fish then me sometimes!

Either way, you'll be seeing whatever hawgs he gets one way another! lol

I think I'll go with just largmouth, unless LM and SM arn't 5 bucks a fish. Don't think I'll be able to compete with Ryan with me fishing the little rivers around here for smallies. lol

Oh and I'm working on Sammy....getting closer I believe.
ON WISCOSIN!
I was actually thinking about this at work today.
I think a gifty is better for 2 reasons.
1-Like you said, no postage (or at least very little).
2-There will be no chance of getting something you don't like/use.

If you all prefer the gifty route, we could go that way. If so, easiest would probably be to paypal the money to me, then I could order the gifty, from the store the winner chooses

A gift certificate would probably work better for me too... Tackle Warehouse should work for everyone, right?

Giftcard is a great idea. Easy, convenient and winner gets to pick their prize.

I'm sure nobody will have a problem with a Tackle Warehouse or Bass Tackle Depot giffy. Just remember to include enough $$$ to cover shipping.

Gift card from tackle warehouse sounds good if we get enough people in to join for the gift card to be over 50 bucks. That way we can forget about shipping charges.

Bucks per member, and if we get ten people we're bankin!

Who's in it so far Mallen?

MallenMason, you seemed to been elected to run this thing (bet your rethinking future suggestions). Is just mentioning that your in enough or do you want PMs with intentions or commitment?
At some point, no rush, is there going to be a rooster or some sort of tracking method.
Again, this is question, not a request!
Oh,Frank, thanks for getting this contest going!

I was thinking we might need to make another thread after we figure out the rules/ categories and put down who is in each category. And whoever started that could edit the names and rules need be. And of course who is leading.

Spelling depends on which state your from!
Plus I was still suffering from the Friday Night Fish fry at 'Ma's Tavern' over on Main St. I think I may have had one to many 'POPS' Friday night. Then Cow tipping 1/2 the night, surprised I could type at all.

I'll let those Carp Kissers monitor their own actions.
Hopefully there's no video camera involved!

I'm not answering the question because I don't have any idea.

I was under the impression that a person entered as many as they wished for the $5. End of year, BIGGEST wins.
Am I misunderstanding?

Entering as many big fish that you honestly feel have a chance to scoop the pot is the only thing that makes sense to me.........btw looks like my 10 days passed without being sent to purgatory
