Anyone else watching
the Phila Eagles vs Detroit Lions in Philly? It's the BLIZZARD BOWL II. This cannot turn out to be a good game. 4" of snow on the field and it's coming down hard. Slippery field and it can't be a decent game, heck it's hard to see what's going on on TV, no matter how I adjust the set it's very snowy.

I'm watching Det/Phi also. What a mess! Calvin Johnson got tackled after a catch earlier and came up with his entire face mask packed with snow, it was a funny image.

Eagles 4th quarter performance was something not seen before. Detroit special team was something to see today. Did turn out to be an exciting game as was the last couple minutes of the Ravens & Vikings game.

I saw part of it. I know it's the same for both teams, but I still dislike important games to be decided under such abnormal conditions.

I'm the opposite. In my opinion, that's the way football is meant to be played -- in whatever weather elements exist that day. Playing the Super Bowl every year in domes or warm weather cities is silly in my opinion. If it's good enough for EVERY OTHER WEEK of the season, including the playoffs, why not the Super Bowl?!? Snow, wind, and cold weather is perfectly NORMAL this time of year where I live, nothing "abnormal" about those conditions at all.
