Yeah bcklash that sounds good to me. And I agree curado, Crocs are comfortable. I don't fish in anything other than Croc flip flops once the weather gets in the 60's.

Hi Kory... Awesome looking boat! You're going to have a blast with it. Glad I could help out in anyway.

Enjoy!

PS - Love them black hulls!

Wow!! Kickin' new ride Kory... I love the colors.

I have never had the privelege of fishing out of a Triton, but it sure looks promising... Though I don't think I could bring myself to buy one, cause NOTHING handles rough water like a Ranger.

Hope you are rippin' and lippin' sometime very soon!

Ryan

Thank you all very much for the compliments, we are really excited about it.

rrw as a former Ranger owner I have to tell you that I disagree with what you said about Rangers rides in rough water. My 20 footer held it's own but there isn't a Ranger bass boat out there that can hand with a Champion when it comes to smooth rides. From what I hear Triton and Bass Cat are right up there with Champions and I can say that Ranger is somewhere below them. I loved my Ranger but I also know it's short comings and although the ride wasn't what I would call a short coming because it was a descent ride, it was nowhere near the ride that Champions give you.

But thanks again for the kind words and I am looking foward to getting some seat time with this boat and showing her around my local lakes.

Kory, I was just stating that Ranger was the best in rough water that I have ridden in thus far. I have not had any time in a Champion, Bass Cat, or Triton before, so they may be better in rough water. Although I will say that Triton does have the best looking boat out there IMO. Have Fun with that new boat.

Ryan, I knew what you meant and you are right Ranger does make a nice boat. I was just saying that there are better boats out there now. Years ago Ranger was a lot better than the other boats out there and so they were worth the extra price you would pay for them, however everyone has caught up with them and you can get more boat for less money now. Sounds like you are in a good situation to ride in a lot of boats before the time comes for you to own one so you can make a good decision based on your experiences and that is very valuable.

nice color-no red- and a rude on a toon?? that is a odd combo since toon and merc are owned by brunswick.-the pool table guys-
smart man he learned to avoid the mistake of owning a merc-once burnt twice shy..

the 225 ho puts out a reported 245 horse at the prop shaft.my understanding is that the e-tech is under rated by bmb. which is a bit odd..

Brunswick didn't buy Triton until 2006 so prior to that year it wasn't uncommon to see an etec on the back of them. And I wouldn't say I have anything agains Mercury but I sure don't feel any loyalty to them anymore lol.

And I had the boat out twice in the past few days and never even thought about pics. I will get some soon though.

Zook....I usually don't put much stock into the mis-reported horsepower numbers we all hear about, but you might definitely be onto something there.

I do know that at a certain outboard shootout, Evinrude refused to come after they were told they could not use their 225 E-Tec instead of their 250 against the Opti 250 and the Yamaha 250. So the E-Tec 250 might indeed be an under-reported beast.

On the flip side....my Opti started right up after a long Winter, coughed out the fogging oil, and purred like a kitten all day long this past weekend. I have no brand loyalty to Mercury, but I do love my Opti.

Maybe both me and Bcklash can come for that ride, and slow you down to 50 mph.
