i live in fl and the water temp is cold and will be colder now that the cold front just came through (colder than normal) i can tell you that you need to fish slow. I went out with my cousin couple weekends ago and caught 5 bass wich was a shocker. We used texas rig and fished slow in about 6-8' depth were the grass sorta depleated.
also gL pics if you catch anything

I don't know if that will help you in any way but i found that while searching the net, it gives some Key spots to fish, and indicates where certain species of fish will be at certain times of the year.
