Default Bass Spawn ???

I'm fairly knowledgeable fisherman I like to think.. I know the spawn for my area and I know that not all fish spawn the same time....but do some bass spawn twice or even late late late. I always catch fish that have eggs lateeeeee in the season

Lets hear some wisdom from the group on spawning bass times, what to look for, water temps, even baits mostly used during this time

Later Will

you can have some late spawners, a lot of this depends on weather, water temp and moon phase just like the early spawners depend on these things. as for the 2 spawns, it is rare but sometimes you can have a spawn in the fall as well but it usually isn't as big as the one in the spring. we have a guy by the name of michael teate on our prostaff, he is from winter haven florida he said that this past year they had 2 spawns on okeechobee.

Additional to what C-Rig said. If there is a drastic change in weather, it can interrupt the spawn. In these cases, the bass only spawn once, but there is a lot of time between the early and late spawn.
