Default My Boat

Been fishin' out of alum. boats...mainly bass trackers...for the last 4 or 5 years....just bought my first fiberglass bass boat yesterday. A guy at work has owned it for 10 years...or so...he took good care of it. I ordered a new windshield for the one that's broke and missing.

It's a 1996 Stratos 278 with a Johnson 150 on it.

Here is a picture from a few years ago.
I've since redone it, but it's basically the same

Wow,

Well I have been using my buddies 13 ft aluminum V bottom with trolling motor this year. However I bought this Lund ski boat in late 2004 after selling my quads. I plan on getting the trailer and wheels repainted this fall and the boat cleaned up a little more. I am the third owner. First guy worked at Lund then sold it to a distant relative who I bought it from.

This was right when i brought it home I have done some aesthetic work already.

I have fished out of it a few times. It gets the job done.

I think that new visitors should have to pass an IQ test. Anyone with scores lower than, say, the average sheepdog level gets an IP ban... Once you're in, you take a grammar, spelling and puntcuation course. Let me know if you have any modifications... Anyone who complains will be shot without trial.

Thats great. I think it was accidental. When I posted my post didnt happen for a few minutes so there must have been an issue and Brandon must not have known.

Brandon,

Two things first dont hit "back" after making a post sometimes that can cause a double post.

Secondly give it a second as sometimes the post doesnt show up for a few.

Now to handle that go in hit edit on the extra posts, and hit delete those posts to clean up your mess!

Heres my baby, sorry no driveway pics yet, will have some soon, but got her in late March, had her in 2 tourneys now, and a third one hopefully this weekend. I got a 9.9 outbaord, due to reservoir motor restrictions, and hopefully next year will have a 25 or 40 HP on it wiht a buddy arm for my 9.9. Stock TM is a MotorGuide Pro Series 46lb Thrust, Lowrance x37TX fishfinder, and a 7ft rod locker. I love the seats, comfortable, but I did replace the front deck seat wiht a butt seat. Now i need the hydraulic post, I am using just a standard post for now, money is tight and they are expensive.

It's a 90 gallon tub from home depot, I've got a TM for it, I'm gonna put an inner tube on for stability, Mount a casting seat and a batterry bracket, and be ready to fish small ponds and the like. It's basically a souped up kickboat, Florida Style (If you want to keep a particular body part, keep it out of the water. )

My first boat. I got sick and tired of fishing from shore. So, I picked this up off of craigslist today.

11" Coleman Crawdad w/ GameFisher 5hp motor. Nothing glorious, but it will do. Haven't fished much this summer, and haven't been on this site for a long time. But this boat just got me back in the game. Just waiting for the tow hitch to come in the mail for my wrangler
