What's your favorite type of cover to fish?

Mine is definitely lily pads because I like to use topwater and there are just so many ways to fish them.

Same here! I love pad fishing! Just as long as they're not too thick, just thin enough to cast a spinnerbait, but thick enough to fish a frog! It's also fun to use worms if the situation permits!

If by weeds, you mean like hydrill, or reeds, those would also be up their with pads!

I love weeds...THere is nothing better than people looking at you wierd when you throw into the nastiest cover on the lake, and you hear the sound of braid being reeled backed (The best sound ever). THe look of everybody when you bring a 3+ pounder out with 5 pounds of weeds. Its a great feeling.

I voted wood, b/c that's all there is down here.... dried up Willows that leave behind TONS of wood. I actually found some lilly pads at my lake! But it was located in VERY shallow waters (about a foot or less). Hopefully when the lake fills up a bit more I will be able to fish them.

Other. I prefer bullsrushes to any other form of vegetation. I think they have the highest bass/area ration.

Hydrilla is great, but can become so dominant that it merely becomes and game of covering it. Bullrushes tend to grow in patches so they are easier to target.

Need to add hydrilla , that is my # 1 thing to look for . I fish central Florida . If you find hydrilla , you have found the fish .....

Love the hydrilla but they put them dang white amur in my local lake and wipped out evry bit of grass.So in this lake i fish mainly rocks,docks,and deep hidden structure.

For the type of reservoirs I fish, weeds, rocks, and wood are just about it. There are no boat docks, little to no lily pads, and the amount of water you can cover is limited to how far you're willing to row on any given day.
