Default Freshwater Fishing

Hi Y'all, I've never been freshwater fishing. My experience is limited to saltwater..spot, flounder, king mackeral...anyway, How different is it? I know I could probably be more precise in what I want to know, but the basics would be great! Thanks, Katt

Biggest dif is that you dont use stainless steel hooks on fresh water hooks.
Plus the fish are smaller than ocean fishing and probably lots slower pace at times.
I grew up fishing the cape cod with my uncle and then fishing down in St. Augustine fla..
its anything goes on the ocean as far as what you may pull in,
Around here your going to get bottom feeders like carp and catfish, which are fun
also pan fish like bluegill , crappie, bass, perch, striper, walleye, muskie and several variations
make sure you get permission to fish on land, out on the ocean its open just about anywhere 8)

JB, where on the cape did you fish? I live down there now, and am pretty much on the ocean every night.
