Default Weekly Lake Fork Fishing Report

Well, the spawn is finally winding down. The fish are seeking their post spawn and summer patterns. This the time of the year the fish will be feeding and you can set your watch on when to be some where. The mornings can be started with top water type baits. Weightless baits like Wave Tiki Sticks, Flukes, Trick Worms, Lake Fork Tackle ZigZag, and Ring fries are all good baits over grass and around points. Small crank baits and spinner baits are all good morning baits. The Carolina and Texas rig is a good midday pattern. The humps and main lake points are starting to hold fish. The lake is in great shape the water is clearing in the back of the creeks and the grass is still plentiful. The Crappie are plentiful. The bridges and brush piles are holding fish. The brush piles are holding better fish as the bridge fish are running small. This is a good time to put brush out to form your own brush to fish. I hear people all the time saying I wish I knew where the brush piles are. Well make your own and then you will know. I have some June Dates left if you want to book a trip give me a call.
