I'm fishing mississippi but i have only been in miss. for about 3 months so i can't offer you much help as of yet, but hopefully i will be able to offer advice pretty soon. Can you offer me any advice? I will most likely be fishing mid to southern lakes. So far i have only fished the back bay of biloxi and the rivers connected to it, as well as Flint Creek Reservoir in wiggins. I am planning to take a trip further up north pretty soon, if you can offer me any advice i would appreciate it.

I will be glad to try and help you anyway that I can. I've lived here all my life. I noticed you said you fished Back Bay. Where in MS are you from? I live in Vancleave not far from Back Bay and my boat as been there before. I've also fished Flint Creek, Maynor Creek, Little Black, Paul B. Johnson, Lake Columbia, Bill Waller and the main place I fish the most is Pascagoula River. Are you in a bass club? I'm trying to decided which one to join, I've been invited to 2 clubs. I Live just next to the Imperial Palace Casino in Biloxi, less than 200 yds from the back bay. If you could give me any tips on Flint creek that would be great. I've noticed that the people here are really friendly but when the subject turns to fishing everybody basically becomes an introvert. It's kind of funny as well as distressing since I have no idea what to use, and where to go. Being from California where the waters are cooler and the fish are a lot more active, I wasn't sure if there were even any Largemouth out here. Any advice would help, thanks.

If you want you are more than welcome to come fish with me or you can take your boat and follow me and I'll show you some places to fish. I have my own boat if you want to do that, if so let me know. Sorry for a long delayed response, Ii've been busy and all.
The main thing I can help you with more is rivers, etc. I have been to Flint Creek, however everytime I've been there it was not that great of weather and I zeroed, but however there has been bass caught there and if you'd like I have a pic of a guy with some nice bass and one club had a night tourney there this past weekend(one club I almost joined) and he managed out a 7lb bass, but that was a night Tournament. The times I've been to Flint Creek, there is more skiing than fishing. I can try and see if those guys will help you, I know both of them.
Have you fished Pascagoula River? Pearl River? Try crankbaits, Texas rigged worms, spinnerbaits. If you haven't fished these rivers and would like to go let me know and if you want to take your boat you can follow me and I'll show you some places to fish. Are you joining a bass club? I know some good clubs.
