you could prolly do it the redneck way and get a extention cord and cut the end off and strip the wires and put them on an iron stick and put it in the ground lol

it has to be pretty long and if it gets hard to pound it in the ground you really have to hit it hard.i would try to find something with a good sharp point on it.

Any metal. Well i have Some more questionas. Man this must be annoying to you guys. How far down should i stick the pole. Does it matter if its like an inch and a half wide and hollow how long does before they appear should i dig a hole and then fill it in without packing it first this way the ground is loose or would it be better if i left it undisturbed.

id say atleast 3 feet down. id would be easier to pound in if the end was pointy. if its not you could fix that with a dremel or bench grinder. it would probly be better if it was solid but im not sure. id give it about a half hour for them to come up just keep an eye on it tho

Wink

i don't mind helping you..just make sure the ground is good and wet.make sure the rods,or pipes or whatever you're using will go at least 19" into the ground.
it would probably be better if you plugged the worm zapper into an extension cord someplace close to where the worms will be coming out.you have to unplug it fast and grab all those worms before they go back into the ground.you don't have to do any digging.
hope this helps...

try to see if you can get the hollow onw in the ground before you go out and buy one. if you are having trouble getting it in there get a peice of wood and hold it on top the pole and pound it in with a mallet. or you can have a buddy help and use a sledge. a hammer will be too small so you will have to use a mallet or sledge
