Children's Panfish Tournament!

Please join us for our 12th annual children's panfish tournament. This years event will be on TV. We have over $4,000 in prizes to give out. The one main door prize some child will win his or her own boat with GPS, rods, tackle box, equipment, bait buckets and more!

Children’s Fishing Tournament



Date: Sunday May 18th 2008

Time: 9:00AM-1:00PM SIGN IN 8:00AM-8:30AM @ (Public Boat Launch)

Location: Sweet Arrow Lake in Pine Grove

Cost: FREE!!

The event is open to youth’s ages 6-15. There will be two divisions, those fishing from shore, those fishing from boats. Children will leave with many prizes! OVER $4,500 IN PRIZES!!

Rules

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times!

Adults may cast (although discouraged) they MAY NOT reel fish in!

Live bait or artificial bait is permitted.

Children in boat must wear life jacket at all times!

Children on shore may catch 25 combined species.

Children on boat are fishing for 50 combined species.

Children on shore are not competing against those in boats!

The tournament will be decided by children’s total weight of fish caught.

In case of a tie, total number of fish will break tie, if tied, flip of coin.

Fish must be kept alive during tournament! People on shore will need a

large cooler and bucket to change water and keep fish alive.

Children are permitted to only have two rod’s in the water at a time.

Types of fish you may keep. All panfish examples: sunfish, bluegills, perch,

crappies, rock bass, and golden shiners. NO BASS!! or other species of fish!

CHILDREN MUST BE REGISTERED BY PHONE OR EMAIL AHEAD

OF TIME. IF YOU ARE NOT REGISRERED AND SHOW UP THE DAY OF

THE EVENT YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE
