Default 3/8th oz flippin wts

Saw that BPS raised the cost on the Tru Tungsten flippin wts to $6.98 per pack of 3 (or for one 1oz wt). Anybody find a better deal?? Hopefully I can get a better deal this winter. I used them for the first time this year and found they don't hang up in the grass as much as normal bullet weights or lighter lead weights. Down to my last one and I've got to pick up a pack or two for next year.

Thanks Bender. I'll have to take a look at the bullet weights. Not quite the same as the Flippin' weights.

Tackle Warehouse has has the Flippin' weights for $5.99 (if anyone besides me was interested). I'm still looking for cheaper if I can get them.

Try this!

It's under internet specials towards the bottom... also they have silver thread leader material for $.25

Lurenet doesn't carry TT weights, but I've used the XCalibur bullets weights and I like TT better because they don't have the plastic insert.

I got my XCalibur weights from Wal Mart in Alabama at the Member event. I've used the TT Flippin weights for C-Rigging and for flipping, and they do seem to come through weeds better.

Let us know if you find a better price on the TT weights.

I've looked at those YUM ones, they are really funky looking. I'll stick to regular, non porous weights.

Smile Bulk tungsten is junk

I tried the bulk tungsten and threw it all in the trash the other day. It fraided my line and was no different than the Bass Pro tungsten weights. They are not sensitive like the Tru Tungsten weights. I know I was just trying to save money, but forget it! I have gone back to Tru Tungsten weights. I know why they are the best now, don't waste your money on the others. Did you guys know they are the only tungsten weights on the market that don't have the plastic straw in them. I will have to say that I trust Denny Brauer and he is not going to BS us. Most of the time cheaper is not the answer and I have proved that with tungsten weights. I am a Tru Tungsten believer!
