Default Ribbon tail worms

First post here guys/gals...you have a great site!

Until now I've done most of my worm fishing in shallow water (1-6 feet) with stick baits (Senko) and straight tail worms (Trick Worm).

This year I want to work more on Texas rigging 7-9" ribbon tail worms for bigger bass in deeper water (6-18 feet).

Which would you suggest starting with...which have you had the most success with?

Vote in the poll but I'm also interested in any follow-up thoughts / advice...thanks!

If I'm fishing a standard ribbon tail worm, it's a Power Worm. I do like Zoom Ol Monsters for 10"+ worms though.

For me its the Culprit, but I also like Zoom, and only sometimes throw a Berkley.

I picked the Mag II, never used the 9" but the 7 (or 7.5?) have been my best producing worm this year.

The U-tale is my go to summer worm when I want a small profile on a hot day.

Plastic worms of every style have their uses. I like the ribbon tail or u-tail around cover other than grass. They certainly work in grass, but there I prefer a Trick Worm or a cut-tail worm.

ribbon tail worm - I've always liked the Berkley Power Worm.
u-tail - I use them also, and my fishing partner, Doc Irv, makes some good ones!
straight tail - I like the Zoom Trick Worm.
cut-tail - Yamamoto
Finesse worm - Strike King or the Berkley 4" straight tail or a Yamamoto 4" cut-tail.

I voted for the Zoom-U-tail, only because the 8" Zoom-Dead-Ringer wasn't an option. I really like the Dead-Ringer worms - I feel the ribbed body has a large profile and remains flexible for more movement in the water. Further, the ribbed body is great for tex-posing or t-rigging with less plastic to pull the hook through on hooksets compared to a regular worm. Dead Ringers are absolutely my favorite worms.

My number one soft plastic is the Yum Wooly Hawg-Craw... it's a creature bait with a ribbed body similar to the Dead Ringer. It was consistently my most productive bait last year - spring, summer and fall!

I primarily fish T-rigged plastics in 8 feet of water or less. I don't fish much deeper than 8 feet typically with the exception of deep diving crank-baits. I'm not sure what plastic I would use in 10 to 18 feet of water, though I might be drop-shotting or C-rigging instead of T-rigging.

Powerbait is my go to for most plastics, including curly tail worms. Although I've been loving the new Berkley Havoc stuff. Looking into my worm bags, you see lots of those yellow bags.
