Maine hasn't been hit by a hurricane since 1950 I hear.

Ironically, that year we were hit by 2 hurricanes in two weeks, right back to back.

Usually we just end up getting some rain from the remains. Every 10 years or so a tropical storm comes and we get some wind.

Im near Atlanta,

and believe it or not, it's about the biggest
dang storm I've ever seen...

...bin windy as heck, and raining so hard it hurts wen u step outside. I guess this means that everything's flooded, and no bass fishing till the water level goes back down (which will take a while)... :'(

oh well, at least no school tomorrow,

We got it fairly bad here in south Mississippi. Not near as bad as it could have been. I feel for all that got hit head on because it was bad enough here. I live 50 miles from the coast of Ms, and I was up at 3am cutting trees off of homes. I didn't have power myself for 12 hours. I can only imagine what the people that got hit head on got. We had 75 to 100mph winds here, and I felt them. Unfortunately I was out in it the whole time. Fortunately nobody was hurt around here.

Well we have had a ton of rain and wind here in tuscaloosa, but damage seems to be fairly light. I'm more worried about my aunts place on mobile bay, I wonder how much is left.

I persoanlly would go try all of the new banks. When the water rises, it can turn on the fishing along the edges, where the NEW areas are for the fish. Just my opinion, but I think after heavy rains it CAN BE some of the best fishing there is

Went this morn. (9/18)
Water was somewhat muddy and very full. Caught several on a buzzbait. Fish were definetely shallow. Hopefully, no more rain for a while.
