Here's another place that could accomodate all of us, if and when we come to a decision. Sooner the better, so we can get the date we want.

http://www.starpointresort.com/lodge.htm

It's the same place we had reserved for the 2010 Get Together which got flooded out.

I would subtly state "gosh, I'd hate to have to take everybody to Starpoint, but we really need some kind of guarantee."

Personally, I don't want to go that far up the lake, as I don't think the fishing will be as good, but I will go with the flow.

No, I' not driving down to Dale Hollow for a few days.
But I want to.
Maybe, I could.
But probably not.
But I might.
I think I could do that Sprint commercial with James Earl Jones.
I think I could.
Better than that McDowell guy, anyway.
But maybe not.

Come on down, Bruce. You could get there a couple of days before us and already have them smalljaws figured out before anyone else. You know you want too.

On a related note, is this the current list of attendees?

Does that look correct?
There's 2 "maybes" attached to me. #1. If I can come, and #2. May/may not bring my boat. Gas killed me last time I came. I average about 12 mpg towing, and it's 500+ miles from here to there. 80+ gallons of gas just to get there and back is a steep hill to climb. 18-19 mpg without the boat is much, much better.
So, if we have enough boats, I'd like to leave mine at home. I'm happy to bring it, if needed, but I remember last time I was there, Mark and I both were alone in our own boats.

Somewhat of an update.

I plan on bringin the jon boat (if it's ready).
If not, I'll be bringin the sun dolphin lol.

Still not sure if the lil woman is coming with or not

I know a boat powered by 55# thrust isn't real attractive, but if the woman doesn't come down, I got a seat available lol

i just got confrimation on harbor house. total is 1715.00 that comes out to 343.ea for the five that are committed, if john and daniel come it will be 245 ea. i only figured on members not guess i.e. woody, bryce , ron, mike and me. the money arragnements for guest are between you and guests. i have paid the 500 desposit but will not be able to pay the remaining 1218.00. at sign in. i would appericate all money be to me by 18 april so i can pay rest at check in . as i live the closest i will proably be the first one there. slip rental is on you.

In my opinion, a fair calculation of the amount each attendee owes, would be to divide the amount of $1715 with everyone , including the guests that are attending.

My amount of $343 for 4 nights, makes it $85.75 per night for me, which seems a bit steep for one individual.

i do not think it should included guest i am on the hook for 1715. it should not be my responseabilty to collect money for your guest. as stated i cannot afford the 1210 dollars at check in this is the easiest way for me to get the money it was everyone idea to us the harbor house thats what they charge. if you all disagree with that let me know i cannot get my 500 desposit back after 22 feb. you are paying for the room ron and adam are sharing one room as me and jeff. you and your guest. mike and his guest bryce and his guest.

Just divide that in half, to split with your fishing buddy. That's $42.88/night.
You and Don are doing the same math, he's just not dividing it down as far as you are. As an example, if John and I wind up coming with our wives, that would make $245 for me and my wife. Or it would be $122.50 each, so I would owe $122.50 and so would she, making our total $245.
Toe-MAY-toe, toe-MAH-toe.....

I say we divide it up by beds.

If you guest is your buddy Jim, and you're not close enough to sleep in the same bed, well.....

Otherwise...

I agree, except in my case, Adam owes $245.00.

Don when would you want us to send you some money?

So if I bring my own air bed and sleep on the floor (like last year) I guess I stay for free? I like that Bryce, I'm in!

I guess my point is that I'm not 100% positive that my fishing buddy will be coming with me, so if I come alone, what would I owe. Do you now see my point?
