Default 135 johnson

i have a 135 johnson and i was running it wide open the other day and it sounded like it stalled pulled it back to half throttle and it picked back up and was able to go back to full throttle it did this for a couple of miles. the guy who rebuilt it for me said it was the power pack but another guy said it was the high idle jets any ideas would help thanks

Double check all your grounds on the motor. Frompast experience a loose or corroded groound cause some weird things to happen. I thought I had knocked out my stator only to find a ground even though it was tight had some corrosion behind it.
