Default Taking off reel handle.

Alright, I've got no problem with other reels, but my BPS Johnny morris Signature has got me stumped...

It's exactly like this one.

I had the same problem with Energy PT capless handle until I discover there's a plastic in between the handle and star drag. Use a phillip screwdriver and press the plastic down, while holding it down turn the handle counter clockwise. Now I don't know if it would be the same as mine. Try that and see.

No screw driver......tighten the drag all the way and then it is push inward on the star drag. You should feel it give, but probably won't hear it pop. Then you can crank the handle backwards.

Your correct. The first time when I couldn't figure out how to undo it I pulled out a screwdriver when the drag wasn't all the way but hey it worked But now I know. Thanks.

I only know because when I got mine it was the first new baitcasting reel I had gotten. All of my others had been craigslist. I think it was the first time I had actually read a manual on a reel before even casting it. Didn't hurt that I got it for Christmas and was at my in-laws....lol
