Default Old school infomercial bait ?

I saw some posts with reference to these type of baits, helecopter, flying lure, ect. Anybody remember an early 80's bait that was hard clear plastic with a color in the middle and sort of wings on the side with one hook in the back. You could make it do all kind of swimming "tricks" even make it jump out of the water. I hung with the reps when I was younger at a fair booth, they had a pool and did demonstrations but I can't remember the name of the bait. Did anyone used these bait, I could not afford them at that time ?

No, the baits I'm talking about were only sold thru the infomercial or at places like fairs.
