I got an autographed copy of the Ghost Hunter book from my sis-in-law. Both Jason and Grant signed it which is cool. I've been a TAPS fan since the first season and got her hooked on it.

Us to my wife got me hooked on the show . Sweet gift btw . As for me we didn't really exchange gifts between the adults this year but it is always great to get to see the looks on the kids faces in the morning .

Well,my daughter is 18 and asked me earlier since money is tight this year, not to worry about her, just to get presents for her little (half) brother who is 9. And since my son's mother and I are divorced, my Christmas with him will be next weekend. I called him last night just to say merry Christmas and to hear what all Santa brought him and his cousins. He told me, then from out of the blue said, "Daddy, I know the economy is bad and I got a game stop gift card anyway. So you don't have to worry about spending money on me for Christmas. Maybe get something for my sister."

Now, I've had money for both of them set aside just for Christmas. Always have, always will I don't care how tight money is, and so far, knock on wood, the economy hasn't affected me much. So that's a non-issue this year. May not always be as much as it is some years, and some years it will be more, but I'll always find away to get them something for Christmas.

So my favorite Christmas gift? Knowing I got two wonderful kids that are that mature and have that much heart. I couldn't ask for anything more.

1/4 stick, you my man got a great x-mas present. Sounds like you need to pat yourself on the back--two wonderful children.

Thank you, I feel like I do. But a lot of the credit goes to my ex and both sets of ex-inlaws. They are great influences.

It is a rebuilt 350. No, I won't have to worry about emissions on it since it passes that magig 25 year mark.
She wanted to get it painted too, but I don't want to. It is an old truck and supposed to look like one.

Side note, I am really liking the johnny morris rod and reel. First rig I have owned where I can cast a 5/0 bare hook. (in the pool, so don't tell me how that doesn't help...LOL)

The Johnny Morris reals are great. I have a blemished one that I got for $40, its quickly becoming my go-to spinnerbait reel which presents a quandary, as it was on the flippin stick. I want another in other words.

I've been doing a lot of fiddling with my truck latelty. It was the last thing my grandpa ever gave me so I'm gonna hang on to it till its a classic. Last week I replaced front shocks, ball joints and calipers. Its a 95 Ram, and I think I'm going to try and make it look sorta retro. Might do a wood bed, already put a 1980s Ram hood ornament on it just because.

from mom, aunt, and bro, a revo winch on a kistler crankbait rod. and a $50 certificate to spend at a LOCAL tackle shop in little rock. the wife said she doesn't want the responsibility of picking out my fishin stuff, so she just put some cash in a new wallet and wrapped it up. great christmas with the family!

CoD4 is the game my daughter and her husband play all the time and want me to play online with them.....Halo is the other game they play alot. They gave me a copy of PGR3 and Splinter Cell with the console.....I'm an avid motorsports fan so the PGR game is right up my alley.....i'm having a tough time with the Splinter cell game.....I get shot pretty quickly in that....lol. I did rent a few games......loved the graphics in Gears of War 2, and I actually got thru several levels on easy mode, although I must admit I dunno how....hehehe. I just got it hooked up to the Xbox live thingy so i'll be downloading some demos and such before I run out and buy anything....they are pretty proud of their games so I wanna make sure they are worth it before spendin any greenbacks.....all I know is there went all my spare time....lol
