Default What connector is this?

OK so... the hose where the water pumps out of my engine (which is an 89' 40HP johnson Tracker). If you trace this hose up under the engine cover. you find where there is a plastic, inline 3 way T connector.

1 way is to where the water "pee's" out
1 way is where the water is coming from the impeller
1 way I BELIEVE is a smaller diameter hose running to water pressure gauge.

When i was trying to disconnect the supposed water pressure line to investigate. The plastic inline 3 way T connector broke as it was old and brittle.

Does anyone know (from my explanation) what i am talking about? I can put up a picture if not.

Where can i find a new one? I have tried finding it on shop.evinrude.com but cant find it in any of the schematics.

AND if my water pressure wasnt working to begin with. And i dont really need it. can i just plug up the hole where the water pressure line was attached (just to keep water from running into my engine). and move on?!!?!?!?!?!

THANKS for your help and god Bless. Keep your lines tight!
