Over.

Ohio goes to Obama, who wins reelection.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg will retire and be replaced by a liberal. Scalia and Thomas hold on 4 more years.

Obamacare will be implemented in some form.

Gridlock will otherwise reign.

Fiscal cliff will be circumvented by taxes and manipulation of currency.

Inflation will follow.

Reagan coalition is utterly destroyed, and GOP looks entirely different in 4 years.

I saw a clip of a guy being inteviewed earlier, I didn't see it in context but the guy said, "If I lose my job, I know Obama will take care of me." That's the attitude of so many people in this country and a big part of the reason we're in the sad shape we're in, IMO. It's a damn shame.

Dog you were dead on about the "fools gold"
Nah it's not the end of the world for ANY of us, it just feels like the USA that we knew and loved has turned into something we don't recognize and certainly don't like. But hey in the final analysis it's our children and grandchildren who will pay the price. I'm going fishing in the morning.

I hope we dont do that. It would make it impossible to win another presidential election. Campaigning would change from being battle ground oriented, to battle city oriented, with each battle being automatically in the bag for the blue.

I meant for just this election, and that would obviously mean I was just kidding.

I felt like you were. I just worry that that actually happens, that romney pulls out the popular vote, and that we do get rid of the electoral college because both the dems and repubs will have lost 1 election due to it.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't clear originally that I was just joking since I was hoping Romney would win.

"I grasp from the beak of a silver dove a laurel wreath of finely wrought permutations, the signal has come at last!" A great day for all Americans. The individual overcame the perceived might of billionaires wealth. American people-1 Plutocrats/Oligarchs-0!

Yes. Orwell was right when he said "some animals are more equal than others."

One thing that confuses me about the election is that the most industrialized portion of the country all vote Democrat. I would think that it would be the other way around.
