Default Rod holders

My boat does not have a rod locker. Instead, I have those velcro rod keepers. They are ok but as soon as I open them, the rods often fall out. Does anyone have any recommendations for something better?

Also, during the weekend, I saw a cool rod holder on one of my bass club member's boat. It had numerous holes that you can stick the handles into and you could pull out one rod at a time without any problems. I think it came standard with the boat. Is there anything like this on the market that I could install on my boat?

i like the strap that installs on your deck, keeps the rods right near ya when ya need em and secure while running.

it dont matter if ya have 12 rods on the deck. the one you always end up needing is in the rod locker under a dozen more rods...

Checkout the old but very reliable Berkley rod holders. The only drawback is they will only hold six if you put one rod with the reel facing the front and one facing the back in each slot. They have 3 slots for rods but a pretty neat option. If ya dont know what I am talking about I will try and find a pick on the puter for ya.
