Thank you. I had a 16.5 Nitro but sold it a few years ago and went to a 15 foot Lund. I missed all of the storage and nice casting deck so went back to a glass boat.

Hmmmm I can picture it now 16ft boat kickin arse against a 150 or a 175 on a 19ft'r. (evil laughter emitting from me right now).

Hello GIZ I have a 88 glasstream Hydrabass in a red metal flake w/ a 120 evenrude...nice boat I only wish I could find out more about the manufacturer so I could get the info to set it to or close to origional specs and color, and also if ya have any ideas how to repaint the hull where it is scratched down to the fiberglass and fix it would be great...lots of questions I know. thanks in advance

Just traded in a 1993 16 ft. alumaweld w/ yamaha 40hp for a 2004 Triton Tr-186 w/ a Mercury XR6 150hp. Put a brand new minn-kota 80lb. maxuum trolling motor with the built in sonar 2. You can damn near ski using the trolling motor

Well since this post is back at the top I will post a pic of my now sold Gambler.

Sweet ride and I had severe allergies the day I sold her.

But to be fair I have moved up another foot in length to 22 ft.

Presenting my new 2201 Mako

A very soft ride with top speed of 62 mph. But not dry in 4 foot seas.

Still a vast improvement in fuel economy both towing and running.

I helped the owner put in a Chevy Targetmaster 350 two summers ago. Top speed is about 17 knotts.. But she will dial down with trolling valve down to .7 mph and each click of trolling valve is .1 mph... Perfect trolling machine.
