Default Who's tried this?

I'm thinking of trying. Why? No idea!
Makes sense and may work better for skippin, easier than a hollow bodie frog anyways.

In reviews from cabelas the Warrens guy, I've fished those cranberry marshes, all private and well protected by landowners and thier favorite musket with salt shot. But wow, the panfish make average bass look small. The bass grow due to the pans all over the place and very few land owners allow very much public fishing. Got to know a cranberry farmer or his son.

I've seen them but never tried them. I have seen proof that bass do eat turtles though.

Seen them during a visit to our locat Cabelas, they look very interesting but was unsure about how I would fish them.

I assume this is the proof you are talking about?

I was fishing a few weekends back and already had a few fish in the livewell. I caught another keeper and when I went to put her in the livewell I found this little guy floating in the livewell. I don't know which fish puked it up in there but it was certainly a first for me. I have seen a lot of stuff get puked up in a livewell but never a turtle, at least not until then. I wish I would put something in the picture so show it's size but it was just a little bit smaller than a Skoal can.

Red necked slider turtle or long eared turtle same as they have in the pet shops, they exist in the wild, same size dont get much bigger.
But its a unique world snappers and other species will eat small bass.
