I also recommed 50 lb braid , or heavier.It handles alot better and it will take wicked abuse , where 30 lb test and under will snap lures off on a pitch if the line has not been unbound from the previous hookset.

i would go with 50 lb power pro from those choices but i throw 65 lb power pro.

I tried the Suffix last year. I use 50lb for froggin. A lot of the pads in the lakes I fis are pretty dense and I like to cast pretty far back into them. I've used Suffix, Power Pro and the original Spiderwire. Maybe one other brand I can't think of right now. As stated above I am leaning towards the Suffix also. Less line wip is one reason. I feel more secure knowing I have the heavier line and I can cast it pretty far as opposed to a lighter weight line. Also sometimes the weeds are so thick it seems like you are dragging 20 lbs of them with the fish.

I use 50# Suffix Braid for my Bronze Eye Frogs as well!

I know you kids like that braid. But i love my berkley big game. Knots don't slipp out so easy using mono. I know braid is stronger. But i'm an old school kind of guy. Besides stronger to me means a line that won't slipp out of the lure that i'm a using. Mono allows you to use a wider varity of knots that you can't use using braid

I have been using Big Game since my saltwater days, but I have added braid into the mix, also. I am a Power Pro guy, but I have bought some Suffix that I have yet to spool up. I have never...EVER...had one of my lures slip out of braid. And I don't need a wide variety of knots. The Palomar works fine, with both braid and mono.

And I left kid stage long, long ago...and I feel it most mornings getting out of bed. It sucks being old.

As an avid Froggy man, I guess I'm the only "odd ball" here. I like 50lb Superbriad for my Kermits. I started on Power Pro, but the first stuff they came out with was flat and it dug in too much for my liking and now after being w/ Stren Superbraid for so long, I can't change....if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just try different brands and # test and see what suits you. Different strokes for different folks!

Speaking of braids. Tried the stuff when it first came out and had horrible time getting the knot to hold. How do you guys tie knots on jigs, spinners, and cranks? All help is greatly appriciated.

I use a jenson knot my self. It's one of the tuffest you can use on mono. Every braid made will slip out using it.
