It is extremely ignorant to say that all pro-athletes are on steroids and stuff.

That's like saying all fishermen go for largemouth bass. Yes, a small number of them do, but in the grand scheme of things, very few fishermen world-wide actually go for bass (there are so many kinds!)

My thoughts:

Chad Jackson is a big-time player for the gators. Shame we couldn't get him out of hoover. Looking forward to the UF game in a couple weeks.

UT as I have been screaming for months is overrated.

Auburn will be a good team by years end, but its obvious that the 13-0 year was a once in a lifetime season for them. Cox has a good arm but plays young - he was obviously intimidated by the blitz.

Oklahoma has a long way to go. That program which regenerated might be losing a little momentum.

Fran now has the same record as Shula in the past 3 years. That being said, Shula in that time has had half as many healthy players and is doing the better coaching job - Fran is a snakeoil salesman who fooled what was a distinguished fanbase and school, and they would do well do beg RC Slocum to come back.

Spurrier is doing a great job with his qb once again, but they'l need to develope a running game and their D is questionable.

Notre Dame played well on offense, but they will have much more trouble with michigan.

Alabama started slow, but Croyle got into a good rythym late and Darby and Castille are both 100%. Long season, next up southern miss.

Talking

Gators played well, not liking the rumor that Bortis(?) might replace Leak during the season. Also glad to see that Zook opened up with a win for Illinois. Good game will be Miami vs. FSU. Dont like either but the game will be good. Glad to see the thread back and running. Let the chit talking begin.

that would be the second string QB Josh Portis. he can run WAY better then leak anyday........but he will never take chris's spot because chris can throw alot better then him. if anyone is into the gators and knows alot of the players.....keep your eye on #51 bryan royal. he is on the kickoff team, and is a big hitter......and i might be going out with his sister in a few weeks. shes in a few of my classes, and shes hookin me up with alot of autographs. she looks good to....lol. im lookin forward to the season, looks good. tennessee looked awful, and how bout that huge upset by TCU....

Just what i want. She aint to bad a lookin herself......... Ive known her since 4th grade so I we know each other pretty good. Only reason I waited so long to ask her is because I was already with another girl and tht relationship ended when I went fishing lol.............. But yall better watch out for the Tide boys because they are going to be Hell to score against with there awsome defense.............. let the best team win.............

Yeah the Patriots played last night, and the Raiders were no match for them.

They proved that even without Brushci, the defense can still handle both the run and pass.

Yea at first I didn't think he had, it, I was on the other end of the field. The refs first seemed to rule no catch - then touchdown, then it went to replay and they said it was a catch and down on the 1.

Thoughts:

ND might be pretty good. Mich played uninspired though.

Who won the texas game?

Sounds like UGa survived.

OU has no offensive line.

Neither do we.

K St should go to two churchs in the morning, they were that lucky.

Way to go Vandy, they beat the Hogs.

Weiss appears to be doing an ok job, but don't forget Ty Willingham started out good too. Notre Dame right now I think is running on the excitement of a new coach, but sooner or later that sched may wear into them.
