Here is the link to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife site. http://www.kdfwr.state.ky.us/
It has fishing and boating regs on it and I am pretty sure you can get your license on there also. The one thing the police and game officials to not tolerate on the water is drinking aclohol. Kentucky waters are considered a public place and it is illegal to drink aclohol in public. That is the way I understand the law. I might be wrong, but it is best to leave it at big bear and enjoy a cold one when you get back and start telling the lies. The link to the boating regs for Kentucky is http://fw.ky.gov/pdf/09fishguideboating.pdf . They talk about aclohol on page 40 of the book but that is page 5 of 11 on the pdf file. I didn't see where it is illegal to have them, just illegal to drink them. Why tempt fate by having it in the boat. Here is the link to the fishin regulations book. http://fw.ky.gov/pdf/09fishguidefishingregs.pdf As far as that weekend goes, I have choice to make. I can be off call that weekend and fish Saturday evening and Sunday. Or I can be on call and come up for social hours and be totally off the weekend of the July 4th (clinic will be closed that Saturday) and be able to take my kid fishing and spend alot of time with him. I think that it is a no brainer. Social hours on the weekend of May 15 and precious kid time the weekend of July 4th. This is assuming that my on call partner agrees. |
