haha, funny you should mention that f&g. wtl came by last night on his way back to south bama. ate supper with us, pizza....quick and easy, lol. anyway, we were talking about next years event we think is goi9ng to be at wheeler/wilson. at least that is what everyone was talking about the last night at kentucky. you will have a chance to catch huge smallies (wilson), or go over the dam and catch largemouth. wtl is gonna get as much info as he can and scout out a place suitable for us. ya know we are UP GRADING our status, hahahahahaha. anyway, the planning is already started.

Ya, I'd be fun to catch another small mouth (my first was a 6"er in northern Wisconsin) But sadly I don't think I don't think my dad would drive much further than Georgia or Alabama, Maybe South Carlina!

btw bama, we're having pizza tonight too!

Heres our camp where the nightly fires and get together happened
Here is Denny, it really was a rare sight to see JB or Denny with a Beer, just my luck to get the only one he drank

Heres the view that WTL, Denny and Me, C rig and Brittney had each day as we woke up ...btw you could here Zooker at 4 a.m. chuggin along, or c rig with the air horn blastin"get up" LOL

Heres Brice our newest member (nofearengineer) along with members
Along with lisa, zooker and billy chowin'down

Heres the view from the camp straight ahead, the condos
Heres Denny trying to flip out the gang before he stuck 8 keepers...bad luck huh
HA!

I stuck a few at this spot

Here denny with a short one, we went to the back of malcohm creek and fished the willows, the bigger ones ended up being found in tree, and the less populated tree areas that fed up to ppl's lawns were key to getting the lure(bandit chartreuse/rootbeer" or a spinnerbait up to the bank. Looking back I should have spent more time on this pattern from the get go with the flooded lake.

since we went to that awesome tackle shop and I spent 15 bucks! I know, only 15. Anyways, we had to go back before we left. If I'd have had the money I would have bought a falcon cara. They're nice now that I finally got to hold one. So, walking around, deciding what to buy, or more likely, what not to, I decided since I was on vacation, I'd buy someone I wouldn't at home. so... 16 bucks later, I now own my first (and only for a long time) Lucky Craft crankbait.

New to the site, however I wish I could be there. Maybe next year if Uncle Sam will let me off for good behavior. Are there any events planned for the Carolina's?

Man oh Man! It looks like you guys topped last year's event!! Chris was over here tonight and we were browsing pictures of last year's G2G on Guntersville! Next year, I will definitely try to make it (might even bring Chris with me!). Between my daytime job and fishing the ABA circuit, and pro-staffing for Grande Bass Trophy Hunter Baits (trying to get them into the market here in Georgia and the word is finally starting to spread!), I have been really busy. Chris is now a member of Team Skeeter and been pretty darned busy as well. Sorry we couldn't make it, but I am super glad that you guys had so much fun!!

We definitely missed you, Bob. You really missed a great trip, but there's always next year, right? I've got a bunch of pictures in my photo album, check them out.
