Try using a weedless spoon with a trailor like a pork frog and drag it slowly across the top of the weeds. If you get a hit wait for a couple seconds to be sure your bait is in the basses mouth.

Wade out into the water, so you can cast parralell. Also angles are your friend.

Yes, I agree with Lizards, I personally do alot of wading to get my bait where I want it.

The best fishing spots are the ones everyone can't get too Effort on getting your baits to these spots will pay off. Not everytime, but over the long run, it will be worth it. As I learned in the Army, Improvise, Addapt, and Overcome Lizards

			Try a bobber!

Seriously, especially if you are using soft plastics. The bobber will keep the bait at the edge of the weeds. Give it a little jiggle now and then for some action and whamo! I would recomend using a drop shot rig so the bait is presented in a horizontal manner rather than a vertical one.

With the bobber? Sure. Try a wacky rig, hooking it right through the middle, that way you've got both ends twitching and giving out 'the vibe'.
