I have a Gold Cup 6' 6" spinning rod I got about five years ago at Bass Pro (I am pretty sure). It has a split butt, for worm fishing, I think, and is Medium-Light to Medium Action. I will be posting picks when I get a chance. I am looking for the same or a similar rod. Whether you guys have one that you would like to sell, have a place I could get one, or have a similar rod you think that I should know about, it is all apreciated
You can see it in this picture. ![]() |

I am looking for either a split butt rod, or an older gold cup rod. Thanks anyway. I like the split butt feature, and I like the feel of the older Gold Cup Rods. They are lighter action, but have power to bring fish in at the same time.

That is interesting, but I want to make sure I know all my options before deciding to get a new one. I am still hoping to find the older style Gold Cup.

By any chance, could you be thinking of Cabela's Gold LABEL rod? It's in their catalogue AND their website. 49.99 + shipping.

I believe gold cup is an inshore/offshore brand for the salt. I might be wrong though. Check your salt water bait shops.
