And didn't fish at all!! laugh it up my Northern brethren. It was an opportunity missed to be sure, but such are the responsibility of a father of three!
A friend offered us his timeshare in Kissimme for our spring break so the missus and the three little ones and I packed off to FLA. for a week. Between swimming, mini-golf, and visiting Mickey, fishing got put on the back burner.... and then never happened. Pretty sad when you are traveling to and around Disney and for the most part I was just looking at the water and wishin' to be fishin'. JR. loved all of Disney, but when I mentioned that next year he and I could skip Disney and do some fishing he was psyched... So next year around this time, I'll be hitting up you Florida fellas for ideas for that area. Most likely looking for a guided trip.... I wonder if that big mouse in the red shorts would look good on the end of a hook! ![]()

Yeah, there's a couple 2/300pound plus bass living in the disney lakes that live off of characters and little kids that fall in....You're best bet is to jump a Donald Duck, rubber band him to a big live bait hook, and fish him topwater over some big holes.....In all seriousness though, any of the ponds in Orlando hold nice bass...If you can get 15 minutes, just fish a t-rigged worm, and you'll do alright.

I go to WDW 2 times a year with the family and I love to fish in the lake there. I have always fished from the bank but when we go in June I plan on taking a guided trip hoping to get some biguns. the say that there are some monsters in there.
