Looking for fishing friend

well folks i'm trying this again.Looking to meet a fishing partner/friend to go fishing and have a good time.Also maybe lives in or close to opelika AL.not much into tournaments anymore unless partner gets me geared back up.drop me a line and lets chat about some fun.

I'm about 2 hrs away from Opelika. If you wanna try kayak river fishin sometime we could meet up at the Flint. Its about half way for the both of us... but, it'll be too cold soon for me. I hibernate in the winter...
But around March I'll get cranked up again.

Olfisherman... don't live anywhere AL to go fishing with you but have an idea you might want to think about. Look/join a local Bass club. Not necessarily to enter tourneys but to get to know the group. I'm sure most of them will go fishing other times of the month than just doing tourneys.

Once again we have a heck of a lot of people from the Alabama/Georgia area. Maybe we ought to see about a weekend get together in the general area come spring. Eufaula or G'ville again.

I don't live near ya but if'n I did we'd go wet a hook together dude......I kinda know what ya mean about findin a fishin buddy.....mine have all died, and the only one I got now only likes to panfish and I mostly want to bass fish so that gets awkward......To make matters worse, I've always been a loner and stay to myself.....don't mind hangin with a few guys, but I don't do crowds, so I don't go to all the social places that regular folks go to meet other folks therefore I seldom meet other guys.....I already checked and the small community I live in doesn't have a bass club....I've heard there are a few guys here that tournament fish but I don't know anyone that actually knows them....and even if I was given a phone number would I actually call it....and say what....Hi, i'm a middle aged slightly balding bassaholic and i'm lookin for a fishin buddy?....Yeah right....Like that'd ever happen...lol...so I know how ya feel dude.....Maybe we should start a Bassaholics annonomis.....have monthly meetings......"Hi, I'm Mike....I'm a bassaholic"

It is tuff finding a fishing partner due to work schedules and i know first hand and sometimes have to fish for crappie just to have someone to hassle with..I am disabled and can fish when i'm not in the doc's orders.I fish alone alot and offer to pay all expense and still no hits.Move to Texas or hang in there it will happen.

I feel the pain today as it will be cold tommorw if the front comes through.

i am a lone wolf i mostly fish alone. and actually prefure it...

where i am a bunch of lone wolf anglers keep running into to one another on we started passin around a web site to meet and talk smack it soon led to a get togather one frosty febuary morning...we are now the ycg a "formal" club..
