				 | Post your dream car

Inspired by the boat thread in the fishing topics, and also lack of sleep, post here a picture of your dream car (anything, just what you want) and why... This is it for me. Of course it could be any number of a handful of cars from this era, this particular one is a 1930 Cadillac V-16 but I also really like the mercedes from back then. I feel like my entire life of tinkering is working towards this final climatic.... project.... that car^^^ - but I want it it be from a kit. I am too imprecise for an original, I could hurt it, and I would want the freedom to drive it anyway without worrying about mileage. So even if it were the body style with a 351 under the hood, I think I'd be quite alright. Where on earth would I get parts for a v-16 engine anyways?

hm... where to start, where to start. On the top of my list would be a 1969 Corvette 427 tripower. Then probably some high dollar Mopars. Then a lot of others. a a big block chevelle (original bigblock), the new challenger, 69 gto, 69 Z28, and lots more. BB

My dream car has always been either a 427 Shelby cobra, or the GT40...now the newly redesigned Ford GT will work just as good......but to be more realistic, i'd be happy with this conversion kit for my S-10 Blazer. |

Hey Zooker, the F1 Mclarens have 3 seats....Center seat up front for the driver and 2 just behind.....its a tight sqeeze but they are there. For just sheer awesomeness you gotta check out this video clip on driving a Bugatti Veyron to over 250 mph....kick back and enjoy the ride....this is an amazing car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk1t6S737Cs |

Zook, when I saw your favorites my first thought was can you actually fit in them? MM, I think I would settle for an Eleanor too. Although the old mustangs are just a little too common - well maybe not the shelby - but there are so many 289s still floating around that its almost the achetypal classic car. I just could never get too hyped up for a new car. Thing is, in 5 years its not new anymore. I remember grade school when everyone wanted the countach, then the diablo and there was always it seems a new fastest car on earth - I'd rather have the coolest car on earth though, leave the speed records to astronauts. PS; In lue of a Caddy v16 or Shelby gt, I would accept this; 1932 Bugatti Type 41 Royale

This is a tough question. I used to be pretty passionate about cars before fishing took over. Realistically it would be one of the new model Lotus cars: www.lotuscars.com probably Exige. For an old time car maybe an MGA: For a dream car to drive every day it would be either a Bentley Continental GT: or a Maserati Four Door: |

ok, dream car huh? well i have several that i consider dream car status. owned 2 vettes, 68 with a 427 rat , and a 72 stock. also owned a 70 charger (wish i had it now). so i guess those along with what i want now, a 67-69 firebird, are my dream cars. i wouldn't really want some of the ones posted cause i would be so scared to drive em,lol. it would freak me out if just a bug hit the windsheild. hahahahaha, but yes.. if i had all the money like jay leno i would for sho have a collection like him as well. oh and the 70 charger, it would be 2 of these models. one stock version, the other, a superbird version.
