What's on your list for this winter? What baits do you have to get or how do plan on upgrading your gear?
If you were nice all year what LC crankbaits are going to be left in your stocking?? And for those who've been naughty ![]() |

Haha....coal for Bama.
![]() As for me, my winter project is to put rod management into my boat rod lockers. Maybe organize my tackle a little better. Most of all, I need a new bow seat. That silly "butt seat" thing is terrible.

I'm looking to add some custom color plastics to my tackle box. Working with a west coast company on a frog and swimbait. They've got some cool stuff and I'll be getting some samples here shortly. Some of the guys in the club will be very jealous!!! I'm also getting a custom spinning rod built and will be adding an Abu Garcia reel, C504, to go with it. Who knows I may splurge and go C604.

I spoiled my fishing items already for myself.....So Im good on gear...A new high speed reel would be nice though!haha......Ive recieved my order yesterday and Im now currently working on two new rods to custom build and sale.....The goal is to sale enough custom rods and do custom conversions/repair to save up for a used boat....Let fishing pay for fishing kinda deal..

I'm in the market for a depth finder, probably something like an Eagle 480...nothing fancy or expensive, but functional. Also, I'm looking for a low-speed reel for my deep cranks, like a Bass Pro David Fritts reel, and a 6'6" or 7' medium action rod for my shallow cranks/topwater/hard jerkbaits. Total $$$ should be ~$300 or less...wish I had ~$300....I've got the "less" part taken care of, though.

What coal, bad all year long?! Hahahaha, ok gang......... just ya'll wait. My wish ist is better finder, gps, and new trolling motor. But i might just have to spend that money on re-wiring the entire RAJUN CAJUN. Seems a field mouse got it the rig and ate the wires. I gotta find out first if that is the problem. If not i will get a few of the things listed. Most likely just the trolling motor.

I'm done for winter, come on spring. Just last week I upgraded most of my spinning rods except for on old favorite that is still with me. Can't wait until spring. The new rods: A Kistler LTA '09 (M/H in 6'6") and three '09 LTX (6'9" M/H, 6'9" M & 7'0" M). I tried one of the new LTA spinning rods a couple months ago and found the split grip pretty nice after using it. I still prefer the full cork handles on casting rods. I also added a couple Pflueger Supreme MG spinning reels and one Supreme XT to put on them.

I'm thinking maybe a Mustang inflatable life jacket for me and the Bassinbandit both.( ouch ). We've got the Sterns but they inflate to easy. A heavy fog inflated mine about 2 yrs ago.

Christmas is coming, so my yearly combo is on the way!
![]() I'm gonna try to get an A-G vendetta, and an A-G REVO premier. Or an STX at gander if they have them on sale for 99$ bucks again, if not that, a REVO S! I'm gonna try to put some p-line flouro clear, or p-line CXX on it. Gonna get me a garcia combo either way - now if only they made line.....

Already addressed Frogs and Spinnerbaits, as far as the rods go, after that sale on HMGs.
Snag a couple reels to go with 'em (most likely BPS Pro Qualifiers) and I'll be set for a while. Although....it might be up to me to work on someone else's wish list. Started seeing a girl who's ex was a salmon fisherman. I plan on bringin her over from the dark side.

Thinking another Wave-spin reel. Wish or not the stuff I sell off at flea markets will pay for it if Santa does not come thru.

Not a problem Mark. Maybe you need to get the BOULDER from Verizon, it is waterproof up to 3 meters, lol.

But with all joking aside, I would like to re-spool my crankin' rods with new 8#P-line CX. And I may even look into getting: a couple BBZ-1Shads, and maybe even a few of the new Kopper's Live-Target Crawdads, medium and deep-divers.
Oh, and a new Wide-Screen.. ![]() -Mark |
