So the wife got me a new phone and of course some of the numbers didnt transfer over.

Anyway, I got a text from a number (no name). saying:

7lb 4oz ....Laney Davis.

My auto response is :

''Ah man what a pig!!..Nice (colorful-word) catch!!!...Where is Laney Davis lake??''

The reply:

''WTF are you talking about,my daughter was just born!''

This friend is not a fisherman.

Heck, I routinely do that even when I KNOW it's a new baby. For some reason, the ladies are not too happy with me when I ask them if they are going to get a replica or a skin mount. Bad sense of humor if you ask me.
