My favorite is the Strike King Wild Thang. In junebug for stained water. I also have a lot of luck with Sweet Beavers. Different colors depending on the water clairity.

A tube, Zoom Brush/Super Hog or a beaver type bait. I prefer a compact bait-I think a tube is my favorite.

Ok, I don't do much flipping, but when I do, I've got a Chigger Craw tied on probably 90% of the time. A lot of my buddies have great luck on the Beaver type baits, so I'm going to give them a try this year, along with brush hogs. I got some of both types on clearance this winter so I guess I gotta try them now. I've also done a bit of pitching in lighter cover with a 4" Powerbait Power Worm. BB

Haha, nothing wrong with "y'all"! I don't get out to FT.Worth too much, I stick to the east side of the metroplex. Last edited by Jrob78; 03-28-10 at 11:52 PM. |

Same here except I would also add a Flappin Hog and a Baby Brush Hog. Baby Brush Hog is probably my favorite.

Jrob, try T-rigging the 4.5" Rattlesnake for pitching and flipping too. It also works great on shakey heads and spot stickers/spot removers!

GrandeBass makes a great product! I've had success fishing the Rattlesnakes on t-rigs and weightless and the Baby Rattlesnakes on c-rigs. The mutants are by far my favorite multiple appendage creature bait. Good stuff!

I usually use 1/4-3/8 oz. unless it is very heavy and you need to punch through, then maybe up to 1/2-1 oz. I like using a smaller bait like the Zoom Speed Craw (not super). Also RI Beavers and Baby Brush Hogs. |
