				 | No longer Bassless

Well I got out to one of the places we fish a lot for a few hours yesterday and broke the bassless streak . The water level was down about 8 feet from last year due to beavers damming the stream feeding the reservoir but the bright side to that was much more of the water line was open to be fished without needing waders . Caught 4 bass and 5 pickerel with the big bass going about 2 pounds . The air temp was about 45 and it was raining on and off but well worth the cold to have put a few on again after a long winter . Jim

Congrats on your first bass of the year! The end of winter seems final once you get that first fish of the year. BB

Sounds like you didn't let the crappy weather keep you out of the game. Good show. There's more to come this year, for sure.
