New PB Smallie
Ryan and I went to the local res today. It's the same one that I caught my PB largemouth out of on Friday. Wasnt that much action early except for a 3-12 largemouth that Ryan caught. Once it started gettin to 8:45-9:00 the fishing picked up. I threw a 5 inch Bass Pro Stik-O in Watermelon Candy right next to a large rock in the water. As soon as it hit the water my line was runnin. It ran about 2 feet and then stopped. I picked up and felt a head shake so I set the hook. Next thing I know that fish is 2-3 feet out of the water.
 For the rest of the fight she just pulled and pulled. I swung her up on the bank and I was like holy crap! She was easily 16-17 inches long but she was really skinny. We put her on the scale and she went 2-2. Not bad for a reservoir . We put her back after a pic and she swam away to fight another time. All in all I think it was a good day
