Yup, I'd say she's hooked. Fishing is now going to become less enjoyable for you!

Hey 3d, Private watershed in upstate SC, she routinely catches those bull gills accidently on a Shad Rap while fishing for Bass...Fun Bonus!!! ****Va. isn't too far away...if you can get your hands on a few of those "fishnart" plugs maybe we can work something out.

....and some others. It's been a long time since I've seen or caught bluegill that big. Caught a bunch down on Santee Cooper years ago. Couldn't catch a bass due to the grass kill so we went after sunfish instead. | |

One of the neatest rewards in this world is to find a best friend who is also your biggest competiter in your favorite pass time! CONGRADULATIONS!! I fish pans heavily before opener and if I could catch bulls like that year round I'd probably be entering this post on a panfish forum instead of here. Hell, I can't even get a women to sit through a movie with me !! I agree with backlash, you are now entering Monkey Heaven! Last edited by joedog; 10-24-11 at 04:05 AM. |

I always wondered about this, seems like a double edged sword. But when it comes to big gills... If they where as big as your wife catches or like the world record(caught last year on Havasu, while fishing for bass) I would be a Gill fisherman, and not a Bass fisherman. |

Nah that optical illusion has been around since cameras, you just learn to accept it. However notice the bend in my wifes arms and pics were taken from the bow 10 ft away.
