Alright guys, I need your help. I bought a 6th sense peg stoppers, and I'm trying to peg a VMC tungsten weight. I've tried multiple times, and tried looking for videos on youtube but I just cannot figure out how to get the darn stopper thru the hole. I want to stop pegging with a toothpick, but I just cannot figure this out.

All you do is put your line through the wire loop that the stopper is on. Slide the stopper off the loop and on to your line. Put on your weight, tie on your hook and then slide the stopper down your line until it hits the weight. Your weight is now pegged.

It should like this. It doesn't actually go in the weight.

Use 2 stoppers back to back for a Carolina Rig. I had a guy show me that trick and they'll hold a weight wherever you want it to stop. Big time saver.

i often just use piece of line. wrap it around main line using a uni-knot, moisten, and slide down to top of sinker. keeps the sinker snuggly in place, and a piece of line is always lying around in the boat. no need to buy stoppers and what not.

I use the tag end after I tie on the hook. Slide the sinker on as usual, Tie on the hook. Once the hook is on, Slide the tag end back thru the sinker. Then use the tag end and Tie a square knot to keep the sinker in place.
