On this day, let us not speak of what devides us, but of what unites us. Today is a day for rememberance and paying honer to those who were takin from us. A day for silence, and prayer. A day to hold our loved ones close and tell them we love them. And let us never forget.

I won't ever forget that day. Like the Kennedy assination (if you're that old) you cannot erase that day from your memory. I was on vacation in the Outer Banks, put a damper on that trip it did.

I had just gotten off a plane the day before in Atlanta Georgia to visit a sister plant in Lawrenceville. Abbey was about 4 at the time and seeing the news coverage of the plane crashing into the WTC, she asked "was my daddy on that plane?".
Gives you pause. With the airports shut down, I ended up driving back to New York. In memory of the poor souls, who thought it was just another day at work. To the first responders, many who lost their lives and so many others that suffered physically and emotionally afterwards...and to all their family and friends devastated by such a cowardly act of terrorist warfare. I confess that I lack the capacity to understand a hatred for total strangers so deep that someone would commit suicide to kill innocent men, women and children. Clearly they must be brain washed from an early age by some incredibly warped and evil people.

correct bryce...hence the meaning of 3rd world country. a clear evidence of a very few dictation to the many only what they WANT them to know.
